Our Races
Asley & Tyldesley Roadrunners stage three races every year:-
There are two Gin Pit 5 races and also the Gill Pimblott Memorial 5k.
All of the races also incorporate a Fun Run.
All of these events are extremely popular and very well attended. They are suitable for runners of all abilities and the fun runs are open to all ages.
The Gin Pit 5 races attract over 200 entrants and the October race is held as part of the Central Lancs Grand Prix
The "Gill Pimblott Memorial 5k and 1 mile Fun Run" is held every year and every penny that is raised from the race and all of the race day activities (refreshments and raffles) goes to DR Harland at the ABC Fund for the fight against breat cancer at Wigan Hospital and we usually raise in excess of £1000.
